terms and conditions

general

These terms and conditions apply to all orders placed with Gearmate LTD, this includes orders placed through the website, at exhibition events and direct with the office. Please print a copy of these Terms for your reference.

Gearmate reserves the right to change the Terms and Conditions at any time, and such modifications shall be effective immediately upon posting. Please review this document regularly.

pricing

All prices are listed inclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated. They are subject to change without prior notice, please check before placing an order.

On rare occasions, we may list an incorrect price for a Product. Where the Product’s correct price is less than our listed price, we will charge the lower amount when dispatching the product to you. If a Product’s correct price is higher than our listed price, we are under no obligation to provide the Product to you at the incorrect (lower) price, even after we have sent you an order confirmation e-mail. We will at our discretion either contact you for instructions before dispatching the Product, or reject your order and notify you of this.

ordering

Products can be ordered by contacting us at info@gearmate.co.uk, on our website or in person at one of our exhibitions. For items to be delivered within one week we require full payment at the time of the order. Consult with our sales team about estimated delivery times for your order. All goods will remain the property of Gearmate Ltd until payment is received.

measurments

It is the buyers responsibility to check the measurements of their vehicle to ensure it is compatible with a Gearmate system. Our team are very good at ensuring they don’t start building the system until they’re confident they have the accurate information required. However, if the measurements you provide are not correct then you will not be entitled to a refund or replacement system. Our team will try and help where they can, so please get in touch if you need guidance.

how to pay

We accept all major debit and credit cards, and will accept bank transfers. Payments for products will be debited from your card at the time of placing an order. If there is a problem with the order i.e. we are unable to supply the products you have ordered, a full refund will be issued.

delivery

We will deliver to all mainland Locations in England, Scotland and Wales, with prices determined by location. To request deliveries to the Channel Islands or Northern Ireland please contact the office.

collection

Products may also be collected from our office in Warwickshire. Opening times are 09:00 to 16:00 Monday to Thursday and 09:00 to 12:00 on Friday. To arrange a collection outside of these times please contact the office.

fitting

At this time, a fitting service is available by collection orders only. You will be assigned a time slot for this service 48 hours before collection, if there are any issues please contact the office. If fitting is required for delivered items, please enquire with our team.

returns

We hope you’ll be delighted with your purchase, but you can return any item/s for exchange or refund within 14 days of receipt, providing they remain unused and returned in their original packaging.

Returns costs are paid by you, the customer, and it is your responsibility to ensure that goods returned arrive with us safely, very well packaged and in a saleable state. In the event of loss or damage in transit, it is your responsibility to claim compensation from the relevant courier company (if you have arranged your own carrier).

Please allow 28 days for refunds/exchanges to be processed. No refund will be given until the goods have been returned and thoroughly inspected by Gearmate. Any items found to have been modified, tampered with, incomplete or showing any signs of damage or use will not be accepted back into stock under any circumstances.

damaged products

If the Products are damaged in transit we shall have no liability to you unless you notify us within the first 24 hours of delivery of the goods in question. Where you have accepted delivery of the goods and have formally notified the driver that the goods are damaged, this time limit is extended to three days.

returns

warranty

All Gearmate products have a one year limited warranty from the date of purchase. This warranty covers the main body against structural failures during its intended use and providing it is not over loaded. It also covers the locks, handles, bearings and rails.

The warranty excludes failure due to accident/impact damage, chips to the powder coat finish, damage to the rubber surface.

Defective products reported to us within this warranty period will be repaired or replaced at Gearmate’s discretion. The cost of returning an item for warranty work will be at the consumers personal expense.
